Learn The Way To Wear A Saree
Yards and yards of delicious prints, wonderful fabric and different textures which Indian Saree continues to hold their own against the ever moving world of fashions and generations of Indian girls. Indeed, draping the sari is a skill which will require a bit of getting used to.
There are lots of ways on learning the best way to wear a sari in a style that is flattering and sophisticated. One can wear it to a party, work, marriages, and for every occasion, this is an ideal elegant dress that will certainly capture everyone's eyes as you sashay into a room with a rich Indian Saree.
Mixed areas of India have their own specific style of wearing the saree. The "Gujarati" form of wearing a saree requires the pallu to be draped artistically in the front instead of over the shoulder. Without any doubt, sarees with a group pleasing of wonderful pallus are best worn in this style. There is also the "Bengali" type of wearing a sari that has no pleats and the pallu has a handful of keys that falls over the shoulder. On the other hand, The "Coorgi" style of draping a saree involves tying the pleats in the rear and a small portion of the pallu is placed over the shoulder. Lastly, the "Maharashtrian nauvari" sort of draping a saree involves wearing the 9 yards of fabric in a fashion that is conventional to the area. In Tamil Nadu, certain sections of society wear the nine-yard saree in a wrap around style sans pleats.
